Question: What’s the difference between each product?
Answer: Use the chart below to compare each lotion. Nearly all Hempz moisturizers have the same ingredients and functionality. The main difference is their respective fragrance. Exceptions include Hempz Age Defying moisturizer which has a thinner consistency from the others and contains anti-aging ingredients. The new Hempz Sensitive Skin lotion is both free of dyes and fragrance. All Hempz lotion are paraben free, gluten free, THC free, cruelty free, and vegan.
Question: What’s so special about Hemp Seed Oil?
Answer: Skin cells readily absorb Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs), but not saturated oils. A coconut oil based skin cream will only coat the skin surface, offering some moisture protection simply by blocking the loss of additional moisture. A lotion rich in EFAs can be absorbed into the skin cells replenishing the lipids damaged by sun rays and/or dry air. Hemp oil is especially effective in saving sunburned skin, preventing it from peeling.
Question: Will I fail a drug test?
Answer: All Hemp Seed Oil used to produce Hempz are grown in Canada under the guidance of Health Canada. Each batch of Hemp Oil are tested for THC content to ensure compliance. While Health Canada allows for there to be 0.3% THC, all test results state “None Detected” when tested at Parts Per Million (PPM). Therefore, its impossible to fail a drug test by using Hempz products.
