Shipping Policies

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products (e.g., Hempz Shaping Spray due to its flammability can not be shipped via Air - FedEx Express and USPS International Priority Mail), and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations (e.g., Hemp Foods can not be shipped to Australia or New Zealand).

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Shipping Notification
Once shipping labels are produced, your will receive an email notifying you that your package will be picked up soon by the shipping carrier (FedEx or USPS).

FedEx customers receive an email from both Global Hemp and FedEx once shipping labels are produced. Each email contains your tracking number. You may not be able to track your package immediately, and in some case it may take as many as 48 hours. Afterward, you will be able to track the progress of your package as it travels to its destination. FedEx Ground takes 1-4 business days to arrive. Therefore, once you are able to track your package, you will be able to see the “Scheduled Delivery Date” and this will provide you with the date that your package is scheduled to arrive. Once your order arrives, FedEx will send an email notifying you that your package has arrived.

United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail customers receive an email from Global Hemp once shipping labels are produced. This email contains your Priority Mail Delivery Confirmation number. This is not a true tracking number as you are not able to know where your package was last scanned. However, once your package has been delivered, you will be able to access this information. Note that USPS Priority Mail is not guaranteed for a set number of days to arrive, but generally does arrive in 2-3 business days from time of pickup. Therefore, you should expect to receive your order in 2-3 business days from the time you receive an email from Global Hemp.

Misdelivered or Lost Packages
All customers are notified via email that their packages have shipped. FedEx customers receive an additional email once their package arrives. Therefore, customers have up to 24 hours to contact Global Hemp if their package is notified as delivered, but is otherwise missing.

A missing package may include a package that was delivered, but was otherwise “hidden” away in a location such as a side door, garage, kids playhouse, under a porch, etc. Its also possible that your package was delivered to a neighbors house or the wrong address (e.g., 123 West Main St rather that 123 East Main street). Finally, a missing package may be one that has been stolen.

In the advent that your package missing, misdelivered or possibly stolen, the first few hours are crucial for investigation. This is why its important for you to contact Global Hemp within 24 hours of receipt of your package being delivered.

FedEx
You will need to contact either Global Hemp or FedEx at 1-800-GO-FEDEX (1-800-463-3339) to investigate where your package is located. Be sure to have your tracking number available if contacting FedEx. Once FedEx is notified of your missing pacakage, FedEx will require up to 48 hours to locate your package. If your package is located, you will have your package delivered in this same time period.

United States Postal Service (USPS)
If your package was shipped via United States Postal Service Priority Mail, you must contact your local post office or your letter carrier if you are able to track them down. This is not the policy of Global Hemp, rather it is how the post office handles customer service for missing or lost packages. Be sure to have the Delivery Confirmation number that Global Hemp emailed to you when your shipping label was produced. Unfortunately, Global Hemp is not able to contact USPS as there is no centralized system for relaying information as is the case with FedEx.

Stolen Packages
All packages shipped via FedEx Ground and UPS are insured against damage for up to $100, and orders shipped via USPS Priority Mail for $50. However, packages are not insured against theft. Global Hemp is not responsible for stolen merchandise. To deter against theft, you may request that your package is signed for when its delivered. This service may be requested in the comments section of the order form. This service costs an additional $2 which Global Hemp will add to your shipping charges after your order has been placed. In the future, we will have a more user-friendly method for adding this service. You may also contact Global Hemp via email or telephone if you forgot and we will add this service so long as your package has not already shipped.

Returns & Exchanges

We will accept returned merchandise for exchange, refund, or store credit for up to and not exceeding thirty (30) days after the ship date. Items returned after 30 days, as well as clearance and sale items, may only be exchanged or redeemed for store credit.

To qualify for exchange, merchandise must be in perfect resale condition.

The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning products to Global Hemp. Credit card refunds will be applied within 30 days of return processing.

For orders that received “Free Shipping” promotion, refunds will be in the amount of sale price, less actual shipping expense.

All returns must receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#) prior to returning merchandise. Returns received without the appropriate RA# will be refused. An RA# can be obtained by contacting us.
